Start off in sunny and stylish Sydney before heading to the luscious Blue Mountains, a region of dramatic landscapes and absolute tranquillity. The fly to the remote Red Centre outback to experience the colossal monolith of Uluru, renowned for its kaleidoscope of colours.
The natural wonders of North Queensland are truly enchanting, swim in the fresh water billabongs in the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest National Park before journeying to Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays, a perfect location for discovering the extraordinary Great Barrier Reef. A short stay in Melbourne rounds off the trip nicely, putting its art and food scenes centre stage.

Refocusing on the historically overlooked Aboriginal experiences in Uluru, there’s a chance to view ancient art in the rockface and observe the sacred rock basking in a kaleidoscope of colours at sunset.

And with its premier wine region in the Yarra Valley, and a bucket list road trip along the Great Ocean Road, it’s unsurprising that – despite its attempts to the contrary – this state remains one worth shouting about.

Just touched down after an incredible seaplane flight over Sydney’s city, northern beaches and national parks. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by how vast the landscapes in Australia are already. Now, we’re about to enjoy a private three-course meal overlooking Cowans Creek, before heading back to Sydney for an evening tour of the Opera House.

It’s our second day in the Northern Territory so we braved a 5am wake up call for a kaleidoscopic view of Uluru as the sun came up. We’ve been learning all about the ancient region from our aboriginal guide, who told us all about the rich history, flora and fauna here. It really does feel like a spiritual place, which just adds to the sense of calm in this region.

Swapping red sands for wonderous rainforests today, as we set up camp in Silky Oaks Lodge just inside Daintree (not too far from Cairns). It’s surprising just how vast and diverse the landscapes are, which has created a lovely change of tempo across the whole trip. We’ve found a spot to wind down now, snorkelling along the river and heading into the healing waters spa.

Just transferred via Cairns to the sublime haven that is the Great Barrier Reef. Hamilton Island is so idyllic, and we can’t wait to get a closer look at all the marine life as we go scuba diving this afternoon. I’m keep my fingers crossed for a green turtle of course.

If you liken Sydney to London, then Melbourne’s close sister would be somewhere like Manchester. We love the cultural and independent atmosphere here, so we’ve spent half a day on a walking tour around the vibrant laneways to learn all about the street art and food scenes. Next up, we’re off to sample the coffee culture before stopping off at some chocolatiers.
